The NewLED TV Technology – Either For DLP Or LCD We All Need This Incredible Advancement In The State Of The Art Of TV
If you arethinking aboutbuying a new television, you should definitelt get an LED TV. Whether you choose an LED TV in the DLP versions or an LED TV in one of the many LCD sets available, you only want an LED TV.
The LED TV sets being produced by several manufacturers are available in both DLP (projection) and LCD models. The advantages are obvious when you compare these LED TV models to their older LCD and DLP versions.
Also, Samsung is solely dominating the LED TV market and a quick look at some of their current models, and the numerous supportivecustomer reviews, will tell you exactly why they are dominating the market.
The LED DLP TV models utilize the Texas Instruments Digital Light Processing (DLP)system. The updated LED DLP TV models from Samsung for example, no longer utilize the color wheel or the older arc lamps of the last DLP versions.
Add this to the fact that the latest LED Powered DLP setup offers a much improved color gamut, a lower power consumption (cheaper to operate), no more rainbow effect because of better screen refresh rates, and no more replacing the arc lamps that were fairly short on life span and expensive to replace, and you have a very attractive technology in the LED DLP TV offerings.
Moving on to the LED TV in the LCD varieties and you’ll find many of the same advantages. Also, one of the past problems with most older LCD sets was a very poor viewing angle. Unless you were nearly in front of the LCD TV, the image would tend to disappear. With the better lighting (up to 40% brighter!!) of the led lcd tv in the LCD sets options, that’s no longer an issue.
What is also another advancement is the higher refresh rates in the LCD TVs. The blurring of fast moving objects had been a problem since the first LCD TVs were released.
It’s now (nearly) no longer a concern. I say ‘nearly’ because it’s not completely eliminated on all LCD TVs, but it’s barely noticeable on most LED TV models, at least by most average viewers.
These are some of the advantages of the new led dlp tv technology.
One other major improvement is in the area of contrasts ratios. If you think this is just something for the technical Geek types, you’d be mistaken. Having contrasts ratios of up to 500,000 / 1, the differences are impressive. Blacks that are truly BLACK, and better color rendition with no more faded grays and poor color representation.
If you enjoy the best possible video imaging possible, have a look at a Samsung LED TV soon.
